It is my singular honour and privilege to welcome all to this academic website of ours designed and fashioned first, for intellectual and scholarly cross-fertilization of ideas and second, to formally launch, host and hoist our journal – Journal of Humanities, Science and Technology, (JOHUSAT) into the enlarged public domain for greater visibility.

There is no gain-saying the fact that research is the fulcrum and corner-stone of the society, and indeed the much needed instrument for burrowing into inherent issues; gathering and garnering data; analyzing the said data and finally using the analyzed data in addressing and arriving at scientifically dependable solutions to issues.

It is the need to galvanize scholars and intellectuals into this robust scientific intellectual task of problem solving via the instrument of research that gave birth to our journal – Journal of Humanities, Science and Technology – An annual publication of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Federal Polytechnic, Oko Chapter.

We very much hope that like enzymes, the articles and other research works as contained herein shall catalyze thoughts and extend the very frontiers of knowledge which is hoped to be the much needed engine and bedrock for national development.

Verily, the menu is abundantly rich, and we beckon on you to savour the contents.
